Online travel: how do you compare?

    Pre-check is completely random. I have had GOES for 3 years and received it 1 out of 5 earlier this year. I did update my delta profile, as our travel department sent over a number that changed it incorrectly. Since I had it 4 out of 5. Last time outbound but not on the return. You can’t blame Delta, you can’t blame TSA, it’s a pilot and random. They are unionizing so it may increase? About as far fetched assumptions as one could say. I think because SWA is flying into ATL, I won’t have pre-check next week. No correlation and invalid point.

    Both those combined define a response. If you are arriving to ATL with that little time left and require TSA, the key is, too little time. Plan for the worse time in lines, hope for the best. TSA isn’t like what CLEAR was when I had it in ATL.

    This has happen to me a couple of times. Just last week my daughter was not chosen for precheck. The TSA only had one line open at the south gates. So there was no priority or precheck she almost missed her flight. I might suspect Delta but given the poor management of the local TSA office I would tend to lay the blame on them. This may increase now that they are unionized

    This us an unrelated ques. When pre-check started I was selected every time – probably 10 to 12 straight times. Since then the last 10 -12 times I am not being selected. TSA blames Delta & Delta blames TSA.
    Any ideas on this issue? I have heard I am not alone with this problem.
    I also obtained a global entry card during the time I was getting pre-check. Once I entered the golbal entry number Into my Delta profile I no longer get pre-check. Interested in what your readers are experiencing with this program
