It’s not just retailers jumping on the Cyber-Monday bandwagon. The travel industry is there, too, and Marriott is one of the first out of the gate with some great deals for winter trips.
Today only, you’ll get 30% off rooms rates at over 180 Marriott hotels across multiple brands. To get the deal, you must book today and stay at least two nights between January 1 and February 28 2015.
What kind of deals are we talking about? A quick scan of rates for stays in mid-January produced these results. This should come as a relief to business travelers weary of this year’s notoriously high hotel rates.
If you know that you’ll be traveling on business this winter, today’s the day to snap up these good deals. Even better news is that airfare is much cheaper during January and February than at almost any other time of year. For example, Virgin America has flights for 40% off today.
San Francisco: $174 per night at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco between Market Street and Moscone Center. Nice: You can take BART from the airport and walk to the hotel from the Powell St Station.
New York City: $139 per night at the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East on Third Avenue. On the other side of town, the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Times Square West is going for a low as $111.
Washington, DC: $118 per night at the brand new Marriott Marquis Washington, DC that TravelSkills profiled when it opened last summer.
The sale is only good for 24 hours (ends at midnight tonight) and you must book at www.marriottcybermonday.com and use promotional code 444 to get the deal. Or call 1-888-703-9727.
