Putting finishing touches on Delta’s new Sky Club at SFO which opens Friday at 6 a.m.
Delta’s long awaited new Sky Club at San Francisco International Airport opens Friday morning, August 28, at 6 am, but TravelSkills got an exclusive first look at the big, bright new space today.

All we can say right now is bring your sunglasses and get ready for some of the best runways views ever through a wall of windows that will take your breath away.
We were there at lunchtime, and were lucky to be able to sample some of the outstanding, Vietnamese-tinged food for purchase at the club.
Here are a few teaser shots. Stay tuned for our full report in coming days… (or check my Twitter feed from the opening event on Friday- and follow me!)

You can buy a pass. If you look on certain popular Web sites, they are far cheaper than face value (hint… Delta frowns on this practice, but does nothing to stop it).
Thanks for the in-pho…
Hey, Chris. I’m attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony today. Are you going to be there?
What a bummer. I am flying from SFO to Salt Lake City tomorrow on Delta in first class, but if you’re not a club member then Sky Club access is only open to first-class passengers on transcontinental flights. Nice pictures, though. I’ll review them again tomorrow at the gate and contemplate the beauty and fun that must be occurring only a short distance away.
