For two days only — October 15 and 16 — British Airways has roundtrip business class travel to London for fares starting at $2,015 from several U.S. gateways.
(UPDATE: Other airlines are selectively matching British Airways on this sale, so be sure to shop around online or by calling airline reservationists.)
The $2,015 Club World sale fares apply from BA’s US gateways like San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington and Boston for travel from November 16, 2015 through August 31, 2016 (although some blackout dates apply on certain routes). The sale also applies on British Airways code-shared flights operated by American Airlines.
Even though promo materials are stating a fare of $2015, we found round trip business class fares as low as $1810 on SFO-LHR and ATL-LHR…. (UPDATE: We’ve now found biz class fares from SFO as low as $1616! Get ’em while they last, folks!)

The sale fares include all taxes and fees. A $500 change fee applies. The sale fares can be booked through Friday at www.ba.com or through a travel agent.

This sale was awesome, and even more so as (despite there being no reward seat availability) there was the option to use a pile of Avios to help pay. For around $3200 plus 120000 Avios, I bought 4 (3 adult, 1 child) round trip business class seats SFO-LHR. Without the Avios it would have been around $6200 – still a bargain for 4 club world seats.
That BA charge for seat assignments is ridiculous! They’re free on UA.
Being a mostly Pacific-facing traveler, it took this sale for me to realize BA charges ~$120/flight for advance seat assignment. In Business. Good grief.
So happy I heard about this sale. I booked SMF>SFO>ZRH>CDG, then CDG>FRA>SFO>SMF with both Swiss biz and LH A380 biz for $2K for Valentines day. Super fantastic deal and lets me try both the swiss and lufthansa biz products which I’ve never done. Happy Happy !
Got a great deal in Business Class on UA from PDX to Frankfurt in December! Thanks!
Picked up 2 Delta/Virgin Atlantic (SMF-LAX-LHR R/T in VS 787 Upper Class) tickets for $2100 each late July
Thanks for sharing this great deal! We ended up getting SFO-LHR tickets on Virgin Atlantic at the same price.
Funny thing, I waited a day to see if United would match, yesterday business class was $3,000 round trip Dulles to London, today $4,400. So I booked British air and going in July for $2,081. Great deal but a bit scary booking it ten months in advance.
Both are SFO-LHR. Eight tickets. The 2nd set in June is some incredible $800+ per ticket R/T.
I am now using this sale to get tickets for family members, notice it is being matched at Delta…
Cool! Where ya goin??
This is incredible. I just booked TWO trips, one in March-April for spring break, and another trip to Europe in late June. Each trip I booked 4 seats and the prices are incredible. But the taxes are very high I guess the money goes to Heathrow :-).
Thanks a lot!!
PS – Flew to LHR on Virgin Atlantic in April and then Delta to Rome in August. Delta hands down better seats, service and food, IMHO. Happy to send you more details if you would like them. VA only better than Delta in their club room, but Delta making strides there too.
WOW! That’s great. Glad to see Delta matching this sale
Chris – Thanks for the heads up on this! We just booked a trip ATL-LHR in June 2016 (2-1/2 week stay) for $2,017 each in Biz Class on Delta, exactly $56 per ticket more than the lowest Economy fare! This is the lowest we’ve paid to Europe in at least ten years – thank you again for the great reporting! Cheers-
Awesome! Where ya going?
Bought the biz class tickets. Were $2,010 each, not including the $113 each way to reserve a seat
Just wonder if United is going to match this fare???
So very interesting, I just went back and all those cheaper fares have disappeared, and the lowest I could find was the $2015 that you quoted. But I snagged my $1610 fare and got it… then discovered if I want to select a seat, it will be $242 extra.
Ha ha, beat you… I just got a round-trip business-class trip from SFO to LHR in December for $1610. Thank you, Chris!
