Hertz Corp. said it is undertaking a “significant refresh” of the U.S. fleets of its three brands — Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty — by bringing in a wide variety of new 2015 models; in fact, the company said that as of April 30, it has added 235,000 new vehicles to its rental lots.

The new 2015 cars are coming from a wide range of manufacturers including Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, GM, Hyundai, Infiniti, Mazda, Kia, , Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen.
New models that will be “prominent across U.S. locations,” Hertz said, include the Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry and Chevrolet Cruze.
The company is also updating its Dream Cars Collection of luxury vehicles by adding the 2015 Mercedes C-Class, the 355-hp Mercedes CLA45 AMG, and the Porsche Macan Turbo.
Hertz said that with the re-stocking of its domestic fleet, more than 80 percent of its cars will have fuel efficiency of at least 28 highway miles per gallon.
