Chase Ultimate Rewards, the award program for holders of Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus and many others is enhancing its usefulness for travelers by adding a link to a major global airline group.
The newest point transfer partner in Chase Ultimate Rewards is Flying Blue, the loyalty program of Air France-KLM. In addition to those two carriers, the Flying Blue program has 34 other airline partners serving a total of 1,000 global destinations. You can even redeem Chase points on Delta flights now due to its ties to Air France-KLM.

Eligible cardholders can now transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Flying Blue at a rate of one point per one Flying Blue mile. Minimum transfer is 1,000 points, but there is no maximum, subject to the program terms.
Chase said that a transfer of as few as 50,000 points to Flying Blue could be redeemed for a roundtrip economy flight to Europe. (Or as many as 114,000 if you plan on going this summer – see above!)
The Chase Ultimate Rewards program is robust with point-transfer partnerships with the loyalty programs of British Airways, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, Southwest, United, Virgin Atlantic, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott and Ritz-Carlton.
Would you use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points on Air France or KLM? Why or why not?
