More openings: D.C., Georgia, Colorado. Hyatt opened a new property in metro Washington D.C.’s fast-growing Tysons Corner area, 15 miles from both Washington Dulles and Washington Reagan National; the 300-room Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is accessible via the Washington Metro Silver Line— train service to Dulles Airport on the Silver Line should commence in 2018.
Elsewhere near the nation’s capital, Marriott has cut the ribbon on another new AC property: The AC Hotel Washington National Harbor, across the Capital Beltway bridge from Alexandria, Va.

Starwood Preferred Guest members have a new option for beachfront meetings and vacations: the newly-opened Westin Jekyll Island off the Georgia coast, part of the larger Jekyll Island Beach Village development, located 4-5 hours (by car) southeast of Atlanta.
In Boulder, Colorado, there’s a new Hyatt Place hotel on Pearl Street, fortuitously located almost across the street from the site selected for construction of a big new Google campus.
